The Splendour That Was Sherbourne Street

In the 1880s, Sherbourne Street was one of the most fashionable streets in Toronto. Glimpses of its noble past survive in its architecture*, grand homes built for wealthy businessmen, and imposing churches.

Again for Heritage Toronto, I'm co-leading this with Dave Parry, a professional tour guide. We're talking about Sherbourne's history and the changes it's seen.

START POINT: Church yard in front of Trinity Lutheran Church, 619 Sherbourne St., just south of Sherbourne subway station.

Dogs ARE welcome on this walk.
Bicyclists, please note that the sidewalks are narrow so consider parking your bike along the route. The end point is only about 1 KM from the start point.


This year we're asking everyone to pay what you can with a suggestion of $5/walk.
